How do I install a new workstation to work with our NovaCore server?
The setup file you will need to install a new workstation can be downloaded from here.
IMPORTANT: Microsoft Office must be installed before you attempt to install NovaCore!
When running the Install on a new workstation, please make sure that you have exited all Microsoft office documents (specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and that you run the install as administrator.
You will be asked to choose an install type; please choose “Workstation Only” as the install type.
Once installed, launching NovaCore will present a login screen. The login screen should have a Connection Profile selected. If not and you are prompted for database details then see the following FAQ for firewall settings that may be preventing correct communication: What should my Firewall settings be?
